The registry has been set up to allow you to find other 1949 - 1952 Plymouth owners in your part of the world. This is the most important part of the website. The intention is to provide you with nearby expertise as you work on your Plymouth. After all, it is nice to be able to contact someone nearby who has "been there, done that" when you have questions or problems with your car.
You will notice that the registry has been broken into 3 separate pieces. This is because it just took too long to load on many computers, especially if they have slower dial-up internet connections.
You cannot email directly from the registry by clicking on the email address. I have been advised that setting it up this way would allow "spam" artists to enter the website, recognize and "harvest" email addresses. Therefore, the direct email links have been eliminated. The addresses are there but you now need to cut and paste the addresses into a new email created in your internet explorer or other email program.
Please check your own email address and let me know of any changes/corrections that need to be made. You are responsible to let me know if your email address changes or if you sell your car. You are also responsible to send at least one email each year to Bill, informing him that you still have your car, that you wish to remain on the registry and your correct email address. See "Remaining on the Registry" below.
If you try to email someone in the registry and find that their email address is not correct, please let me know.

Note: "Dead wood" names in the registries were deleted 22 February, 2008 for one or more of the following reasons - 1) no contact with Bill or the website for two or more years, 2) unreported change of email address, 3) failure to respond to two or more emails from Bill. (I can't contact you). Any photos on the website belonging to these folks were also deleted at that time, including "Feature Car" photos.

Owners Outside the USA

We especially appreciate our owners of 49-52 Plymouths who live outside the USA. Our Canadian friends seem to be the most enthusiastic group outside the U.S. but it is amazing to see how far-flung these old Plymouths are.

(12 Nov. 2004) TO REMAIN ON THE REGISTRY- I reserve the right to delete names from the Registry and photos from the photo pages of those who do not make at least one contact each year, confirming their email address and indicating that they still have their Plymouths and wish to remain listed. Otherwise the information in the Registry becomes hoplessly outdated very quickly. I will not delete anyone without trying to contact them first - but this is a BIG job, taking a lot of time that could be better used adding more information to the site. A little help, please!
Please include your name & location on this email so I can easily find you in the registry. A note such as "Keep me on it - (signed) Charlie" means that I have to find out who you are by searching 3 different files for your email address. That takes too much time!!!!!
