Ed Woomer of Shillington, Pennsylvania USA calls his 1949 Plymouth P19 Business Coupe "Babey". This Titanium Brouwn beauty has only 42,500 original miles on it. It was stored in a barn for over 25 years when a widow who didn't drive put it away after her husband died. She didn't want to part with it. After she died, it was sold to a man in Carlisle, PA. who cleaned it all up and then sold it to Ed since he had to "quit the project" to sell it to raise money to pay for his wife's cancer treatments. We're glad that Ed was able to bring new life to the car.
One last question though - what happened to the original taillights on this car? My best sources say that the 49 business coupe, from the factory, had a rectangular taillight just above the dust pan between the fender and the center brake light assembly.
Thanks for the photos below. Hope you can read the fine print.

Just in case you can't read the captions under the photos on the left, they read:
1. "The seat cover is to protect the original seat that is in great condition with no wear or tears; and 2. "The back trunk chrome, door handles, and back chrome fins are what we are still looking for since the weather took it's toll on them."
