Sako Espinoza of Los Angeles, California has an eye opener in his 49 Deluxe 2-Door Suburban. Can't imagine this one not stopping traffic wherever it goes. Since purchasing it back in 2000, Sako has rechromed the bumpers & grill, polished out some of the stainless, made wooden panels for the inside to replace the some of the vinyl/cardboard, installed new carpet, installed a new headliner, reupholstered the seats and powder coated the rims. He has also rebuilt the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, carb, radiator and water pump. As if the yellow paint and general condition of this beauty wasn't enough to catch everyone's eye, he also installed a wolf whistle and an old fire truck siren. Still running the stock 218 engine at 6 volts, he has radio repair, a new clutch and a front-end rebuild on his schedule.
