With good looks like this, is it any wonder that Bill & Helen drove home from the 2007 Plymouth Owners Club Spring Meet in Santa Maria, California with the Class 4 Third Place Award - plus the "Long Distance Award" for the 2766 mile round trip from Franklin Grove, Illinois to Santa Maria?

Bill has almost every option known to man mounted on his coupe - but - they are all genuine 1950 Plymouth options (except the overdrive). Note the skirts, bumper protector bars and fog lights. Somehow, even with the numerous options, the clean lines of the car are not compromised. The matched set of 1950s Samsonite luggage in the trunk just adds the final touch.

On the way home from the 2007 POC Spring Meet, Helen & Bill stopped to visit Betty & Bill Ward at their Utah home, making a great photo opportunity to show all of their cars together. NICE!

Jack (the) Bear hitched a ride from Betty & Bill Ward's home in Utah to Franklin, IL with Bill & Helen. Having ridden from Utah to Santa Maria for the POC 2007 Spring Meet, Jack wanted to keep going. Yes, this is the same (?) Jack who is pictured in this website in such various places as Tasmania, China, Mongolia & Russia. Quite the traveler! He sez "thanks for the lift!"
